Terms of Service for Hekta ID

Effective Date: July 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Hekta ID account, accessing, or using the Hekta ID single sign-on (SSO) service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This Service is provided by Hekta Company ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create a Hekta ID.

2. Description of Service

Hekta ID is a centralized identity management and authentication ecosystem. Your Hekta ID serves as your unified gateway to access various platforms owned, operated, or partnered with Hekta Company, including but not limited to NafDex, Sebuleni, and other future digital services (collectively, the "Hekta Ecosystem").

3. Account Registration & Security

Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. Hekta Company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.

Single Identity: A Hekta ID is intended for individual or authorized corporate use. Sharing credentials across multiple unassociated individuals to bypass platform limits is strictly prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hekta ID to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the authentication services or servers connected to Hekta ID.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Hekta Ecosystem application, user accounts, or computer systems.
  • Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to create accounts or authenticate without our express written permission.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including the Tanzania Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

5. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Hekta ID account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activities. Because Hekta ID is a unified gateway, suspension of your Hekta ID will result in the loss of access to all connected platforms (e.g., NafDex, Sebuleni).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hekta Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
